Council has received an application for the development of the land to construct an eleven storey mixed-use building (with two basement levels) containing office and 2 x food and drinks premises (permit required for food and drinks premises uses only, operating 7am to 7pm, seven days a week) and a reduction of the car parking requirements

Features of the proposal include:

Full demolition of the building on site (no permit required);
Construction of an eleven-storey mixed-use building, with terraces throughout and an overall height of 43.15 metres (height including lift overrun);
The main pedestrian access to the building will be from Cremorne Street, with a public piazza proposed within the title boundary of the site where interfacing with the footpath;
The office use is proposed on Level 1 and above. A total of 4,505sqm of office floor space is proposed. No permit is required for this use.
Two food and drinks premises are proposed, one on the ground floor and one within the basement 01 level. The primary access to these food and drinks premises would be from Cremorne Street. A permit is required for this use, with both premises proposed to operate 7am to 7pm, 7 days a week.
24 car parking spaces (including one DDA space) will be provided on-site, access to the car park on the Basement 02 level will be provided via a car lift from Jessie Street. On the Basement 01 level bicycle parking for 59 spaces (49 for employees and 4 for visitors) will be provided. Primary access to the bicycle parking is proposed to be via the car lift from Jessie Street. End-of-trip facilities are also located within the Basement 01 floor.
