Council has received an application seeking approval for partial demolition of the existing building for the construction of a mixed-use, 8-storey building for 19 dwellings with a reduction in the car parking requirements associated with a shop and dwellings.

Features of the proposal include:

Construction of an 8-storey building;
Ground Floor shop (89.5sqm floor area);
A total of 19 dwellings (7 x 1 bedroom, 3 x 2 bedroom, 9 x 3 bedroom);
Vehicle access to the ground floor garage will be provided from Easey Street;
A total of 19 car parking spaces and 21 bicycle spaces.
