Council has received an application for development of the land for the construction of an 8 storey building at the rear of the site, including a reduction in the car parking requirement and partial demolition of the existing dwelling.

The existing building on the site is listed on the Victorian Heritage Register (H149). On this basis, all heritage aspects of the proposal will be considered by Heritage Victoria.

Features of the proposal include

Minor restoration works to the existing façade
Construction of an eight-storey residential building at the rear of the existing building
Total of 7 dwellings (including existing dwelling at the front of the site)
Office space at ground level within the existing building
8 car parking spaces, accessed from the rear of the site
