Community advocacy for residents over 50 years of age

We adopted the River of Life Positive Ageing Strategy and Action Plan in 2006.

This initiative was developed by us with the support of the Active Ageing Advisory Group.

The group collaborates with us and the community in raising awareness of ageing issues and promoting a Yarra culture that responds to the needs and aspirations of all older people. A key responsibility of the group is to oversight the implementation of the action plan.
