Yarra Libraries wishes everyone a happy and safe festive season and New Year. We will be operating on reduced opening hours over the holiday period. Returns chutes will be available at all branches throughout the Christmas and New Year period and items can be renewed online.

Our libraries will be closing early at 2pm (and 1pm at Collingwood) on Saturday 24 December for Christmas Eve, and then closed on the following days.

Holiday closure dates:

Sunday 25 December 2022 (Christmas Day)
Monday 26 December 2022 (Boxing Day)
Tuesday 27 December 2022 (Christmas Day public holiday)
Sunday 1 January 2023 (New Year's Day)
Monday 2 January 2023 (New Year's Day public holiday)

Our libraries will be open 10am-5pm on the three days from Wednesday 28 December to Friday 30 December inclusive, and closing at 4pm on Saturday 31 December (New Year's Eve), except Collingwood Library which will close at 1pm.

Regular hours will recommence on Tuesday 3 January 2023.
