We’re planning for the future of Burnley Golf Course and also need to address safety risks associated with balls entering nearby roads and railway lines.

To start the process we are asking for feedback and ideas about what you want to see in this space. 

In addition to being a popular golf course, Burnley is a wonderful green space which helps combat urban heat and encourages a healthy, active and socially-connected community. 

This planning we do now will shape the future of this well-loved community asset.

• building on the facility’s popularity and encouraging diverse participation
• maximising the benefits of the green open space
• ensuring value-for-money for golf course users and our community
