A recent dust storm significantly impacted the water quality at Fitzroy Swimming Pool.

In order to reopen the outdoor pool we need to ensure that we comply with the industry guidelines and regulations (Guidelines for Safe Pool Operations and the Public Health and Wellbeing Regulations 2019) which state that we must be able to clearly see the bottom of the pool which includes all lane markings and objects to ensure your safety.

Our team has been working hard on improving the water quality, and the water visibility is now at industry standards. 

The outdoor pools have reopened to the public.

All facilities and services are now operating as normal.
