We have constructed an elevated boardwalk along the Merri Creek at Coulson Reserve with connecting asphalt paths and an improved pedestrian crossing across Heidelberg Road to Hall Reserve, Clifton Hill.

The ramp and connecting paths improve safety and amenity for walkers and bike riders by diverting path users around the flood-prone bridges across the Merri Creek and avoiding the steep hill and blind corner on the existing shared path under Heidelberg Road.

The project is a recommendation of the Merri Creek Trail Review (2006) and the Yarra City Council Bicycle Strategy (2010 – 2015) and has been constructed over the 2016/17 and 2017/18 financial years.
