French fashion in Yarra

Domi Liard is a new local business owner who started selling tshirts under the label BIZU Shop in Melbourne earlier this year. BIZU Shop is one of many home-based businesses in Yarra, a hidden part of the economy that benefits from Yarra's close proximity to the center of Melbourne and the creative energies that are unique to Yarra suburbs.

Although she has no physical retail space, you can find her French slogan t-shirts selling on Etsy, in markets and online. As she says, "Yarra is the perfect location to start a clothing business - especially Collingwood! The artistic and creative vibe of this neighborhood is inspiring and motivating."

Domi has had no shortage of inspiration from local boutiques. "I absolutely love Design a Space on Brunswick Street, Shop Sui by Sylvia Tai on Smith Street, The Standard Store on Gertrude Space, and Moppit and More on Queen's Parade."
