Corner Richmond Terrace and Docker Streets, Richmond
A section of road at the intersection of Docker Street and Richmond Terrace was permanently closed to create the park. The road closure only affects vehicle traffic, with cyclists and pedestrians continuing to have through access.
The park is 600m2 of open space including lawn terraces, seating, garden beds, trees, feature lighting, bicycle racks and a drinking fountain.
The park features a paved ‘shared zone’ inspired by the stained glass windows of nearby historic buildings.
Park visitors will enjoy the amazing view towards the city across the MCG and is an ideal place to enjoy lunch or relaxing with friends and family.
