Celebrate World Environment Day with a morning of tree planting at the Merri Creek Labyrinth.

Join Friends of Merri Creek Labyrinth and Council’s bushland restoration experts Felix Botanica for a family-friendly community planting day.

We’ll be planting indigenous (local to the area) shrubs and grasses around the Labyrinth to help support and enhance biodiversity in the area. 

No gardening experience is necessary.

Participants will need to bring their own gardening gloves, wear sturdy, enclosed shoes, be sun safe and bring a reusable water bottle.

There will be some free light refreshments and snacks provided but you are welcome to bring a picnic blanket/basket.

This project is supported by the City of Yarra's Annual Grants program. Applications for 2024 Annual Grants will be open from 13 June to 31 July 2023.
