Hailed as one of the best creative pivots of 2020, The Bandwagon is a new, innovative, COVID Safe live entertainment venue.

Just as the original Taco Truck packaged up the flavour of Mexico & brought it to the people, The Bandwagon packages the flavour of an intimate jazz/music club & brings it curb-side featuring some of Yarra’s young musical talent, including The VoVo’s, The Dirt, Richmond High Schools own Anna & Shana Dang and special guests the Chinese Good Voice Choir. Richmond High School’s Year 9 Entrepreneurial Project will be onsite selling their wares during the event. So come buy a treat and support local burgeoning businesses.

  The Vovos

The VoVo’s

(UPDATE: Unfortunately, The VoVo's have cancelled due to the impact of COVID. New line up announcement shortly.)

5-piece girl gang, The VoVo’s, have taken Melbourne by storm with their catchy hooks, playful attitude and their uniquely teenage perspective. They write alternative indie-rock songs about being young and female, navigating friendships and capital cities and occasionally, about carnivorous plants.

 Dang Sisters

Anna & Shanna Dang

Richmond High School students, Anna and Shana Dang both sing and play piano. Each will perform a solo set including original songs at this Bandwagon event.  Stylistically blending classical and pop influences these twin sisters are passionate about the power of music as a universal form of communication, able to unite all people despite individual differences.

The Dirt

The Dirt

Albert O'Loughlin, hailing from Central Australia, comes to play at The Bandwagon through his new solo project The Dirt. After playing in various folk-rock bands around Melbourne (Albert Street, The Oh Balters), he will be singing old and new songs about ghosts, Belloc and mud.

Chinese Good Voice Choir

The Chinese Good Voice choir and association is committed to promoting traditional Chinese culture and multiculturalism.  The choir has performed frequently for local communities over many years and are pleased to bring their traditional Chinese songs to this Bandwagon event.
Free event, no tickets required.
