More about The Hotham Street Ladies

The Hotham Street Ladies are a group of five women who since 2007 have made food-related work, including cake creations, recipe books, gallery exhibitions, installations and street art. Their practice embraces themes of home life, feminism and craft. Each of the HSLs has lived at one time in a share house in Hotham Street, Collingwood.

See more of their work on the Hotham Street Ladies website.

Flesh After Fifty

We live in a society swamped with images, where high value is placed on physical appearance and an association between attractiveness and youth, particularly for women. Flesh after Fifty will explore and challenge negative stereotypes of aging while celebrating and promoting positive images of older women through art. Check out the Flesh After Fifty website for full program details.
