In honour of International Women’s Day and to inspire, empower and celebrate the women in our community we are excited to announce a special evening with Emma Carney at Fitzroy Swimming Pool on Thursday 11 March from 6pm to 7pm.  

As a Sports Australia Hall of Famer, world champion triathlete and now a published author, Emma is one of Australia’s most accomplished and awarded athletes.

With a sparkling career of smashing records and defeating the odds, Emma joins us to share her story as a woman in sport; the challenges, the highlights and everything in between. 

This event will be held at Fitzroy Swimming Pool and there will be light refreshments available. 

After the event Emma will have signed copies of her book ‘Hardwired’ available for purchase.

Tickets are free but places are limited due to capacity limits so please make sure you book via Eventbrite to secure your spot.
