Urban Landscapes: City of Yarra is a series of mixed media works by Tarli Bird that explore and celebrate the many open spaces within the municipality.

Combining various techniques, materials and media, Bird recreates these spaces with acute observation. By responding intuitively to the built and natural environment with line, colour, texture and pattern she extends the boundaries of representation.

Urban Landscapes: City of Yarra is on display at the Fitzroy Library from Wednesday 3 February until Sunday 2 May, 2021 as part of Yarra City Art's 2021 exhibition program.
