self-directed identification expansion, nurturing and the prankster
Sunday 22 November 2020 - Sunday 31 January 2021
Sean and Bon invite you to see how gender diverse and Indigenous artists in the City of Yarra are contributing to positive social change by challenging dominant normative ideas about personal identity and challenges traditional Western educational protocols for framing and installing artworks.
Their installation self-directed identification expansion, nurturing and the prankster is on display at Second Space Projects, 226 Gertrude Street, Fitzroy.
This platform for non-normative identifying artists living in Yarra is supported by Yarra City Arts, through a Small Project Grant.
