The Albanian Australian Islamic Society (AAIS) are celebrating the 50th anniversary of their mosque in Carlton North with a free street festival open to the whole community.

Celebrate the anniversary of Melbourne's first mosque with plenty of great activities, including:

• the opening of a new historical exhibition
• free guided tours of the mosque
• hijab tutorials for adults
• Albanian folk dancing
• food trucks
• a coffee cart
• face painting
• craft activities
• a jumping castle
