Come and try flat water kayaking

Come and try flat water kayaking with Ivanhoe Northcote Canoe Club! This will be a safe and fun way to learn about the sport of kayaking (and get up close to the beautiful Yarra River) with qualified kayaking coaches on hand to support you.

Meet at the steps near Fairfield Boathouse in Fairfield |
When? |
Sunday October 27th between 1 and 3 pm. |
Safety? |
Participants should be able to swim 50 metres and be confident in water. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. We will provide PFD’s and qualified coaches, all with First Aid qualifications |
What to wear? |
Wear shorts, t-shirt (thermals if its a bit cold), reef shoes if you have them, and sunscreen if hot. |
Important |
Bring a towel and change of clothes as there is a good chance participants will enjoy a refreshing dip in the Yarra! |
