After a hiatus in 2018, The Village Festival will return to Edinburgh Gardens Friday 25 to Sunday 27 October 2019.

The Village Festival in Edinburgh Gardens is an annual institution and a wonderful meeting place for Melbourne’s artistic community. The festival is fundamentally an experimental artistic playground in which new work, new collaborations and new artforms are explored. It is also an extremely fun and welcoming place to be.

Expect a diverse festival with new special events including a sunset ritual, a fashion parade, explorations in alternate reality, a focus on food, myriad ways to encourage your creativity, queer delights, a dedicated kids program, plus all sorts of music, theatre and installation art.
