You are invited to get involved in the second annual Spring Clean the City event on 21 September.

Spring Clean the City brings together hundreds of volunteers from businesses and community groups to clean up litter in the CBD. This will prevent it from ending up in drains, creeks and the bay, where it goes on to pollute the Yarra and our beaches.

The litter collected on the day will be a reminder of how desperately Victoria needs a Container Deposit Scheme. It will also show how determined Melbourne residents are for the city to clean up its act.

The morning clean-up activity starts at 9am at Queens Bridge Square on Southbank Promenade.
