Resilience and self care (Free business training)

Thursday 19 September 2019

Constant exposure to change and stress can have significant impacts on employees which, if unrecognised and untreated, can have a detrimental impact on their professional and personal lives. These cumulative stress responses can result in staff burn-out and absenteeism and may lead to flow-on consequences for clients, staff and organisations.

This information session will consider the key concepts of resilience and stress in the workplace and provide practical strategies that staff can put into place to support themselves and each other as a team. Specifically, the session will cover:

  • Resilience, stress and different types of stress
  • The change curve and managing change
  • Resources to support resilience – workplace support
  • Stress strategies and self-care
  • Reflection through change
  • Why wellbeing matters
