Winner of the New York Concert Artists Competition, UK based violinist Benjamin Baker has established himself as one of the next generation’s leading violinists. Having performed concertos with all the major orchestras throughout Europe and North America, including recitals at Wigmore Hall, Carnegie Hall and the Washington Centre, Benjamin Baker will perform at the Convent for one night only.

In this one-off Melbourne recital, he is joined by esteemed colleague and Australian master pianist, Ian Munro. The program showcases some of the finest conversation between violin, piano and composer, with sonatas by Mozart, Brahms and Janacek. This is a concert truly not to be missed.
