Starting with Busoni’s arrangement of Bach’s Chaconne, written in the form of variations, the recital will then continue with a lesser-known yet beautiful and technically demanding set by Beethoven, and finally conclude with one of the most celebrated and favourite sets of piano variations by Rachmaninoff, on a Theme of Corelli.
