BreakThrough: Ice information session

Come along to Turning Point's free information session held over two nights at their Richmond offices from 6pm to 8pm on Tuesday 26 February and Tuesday 5 March to gain support and learn strategies to help family members struggling with methamphetamine (ice) addiction.

This information session is suitable for those who are concerned about someone using methamphetamine or who would like to learn how to better support and understand a family member struggling with methamphetamine (ice) addiction.

Breakthrough has a unique focus on helping family members, partners and friends understand a loved ones’ drug use and accessing appropriate support for themselves. It is funded by the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) and was developed by Turning Point, Family Drug HelpSelf Help Addiction Resource Centre (SHARC) and The Bouverie Centre

The program covers key facts about ice and its effects on the brain and body. It also focuses on strategies people can use to discuss drug use with loved ones, understanding relationship dynamics, developing boundaries and responding to challenging situations while accessing support for the whole family. 

Light refreshments will be provided. 

This session is free but you must book your spot.
