Come along to Rushall Garden Open Day on Saturday 13 October from 1pm to 4pm to learn about Rushall Garden and the joy that can be gained from growing and sharing fresh produce in a community garden.  

The open day will be hosted by members of the North Fitzroy Community Garden Group who will communicate experiences of the Rushall Garden throughout the day with short-guided tours around the garden. The garden combines individual plots allocated to 60 local households and communal plots for everyone to enjoy.

Features of the open day will include garden tours, worm-farm & composting demonstrations, stalls with kitchen produce & vegetable seedlings ready to plant and a sausage sizzle.

The open day is located at Rushall Garden, Thomas Kidney Reserve on Rushall Crescent, North Fitzroy. Melways Map 30 D11 (Behind the grassy knoll at the end of Kneen St).
