Lunchbox learning: Photography for social media (Free business training)
Thursday 30 August 2018
No one likes having their photo taken, and even less so for business. Daggy business headshots don't do anyone any favours. Samara Clifford will show you how to take better shots of yourself for social media, with the camera in your pocket. What to wear, how to pose (and how not to!), how to find great light and backgrounds. And most of all, how to still look like a professional.
About the presenter:
Samara Clifford graduated from Curtin University in 1996 with a BA Design (Photography) with high distinctions. After graduating she followed her gypsy feet and travelled the world, working with photographers, advertising and digital agencies for 10 years. She went adventuring in foreign countries, met rock stars and briefly tried being one. In 2009 she returned to Australia to begin her next big adventure. Based in Fitzroy North, she's energized by creative problem solving. Working with brands and products to define and capture their visual style to help their business grow - this is her gasoline.
What to bring:
Please bring a pen and paper for notes and business cards for networking if you have them. You are also welcome to bring your own lunch or coffee to this casual training and networking event. Please note that no refreshments will be provided at this session.
What is Lunchbox learning?:
