Starting up: How to turn an idea into a business

This Small Business Victoria workshop on Wednesday 1 August at 6pm at Richmond Town Hall will step you through the process of starting your own business and help you get set up right the first time.

We will connect you to a range of government resources and free mentoring. So if you've got a great idea that you want to turn into a business, this workshop is perfect for you.
You will learn how to:
• Test your idea, product or service
• Assess your business readiness and next steps to fill any gaps
• Analyse your market
• Decide the business structure that’s right for you
• Understand and manage your business risks and opportunities
• Prepare a business plan
• Complete all the steps to register and set up your business
• Access ongoing advice and support to help your business grow.
Post-event mentoring: Includes a free follow-up one-on-one mentoring session with an experienced small business mentor who will tailor advice and information for your individual circumstances.

Refreshments: Your ticket price covers a light dinner, tea and coffee.
