Does Our Governments Cruelty Protect Us- with Julian Burnside AO QC

 The Citizen Advocacy Trust of Australia invites you to hear Australian barrister, author, and refugee and human rights advocate Julian Burnside AOQC speak on the topic of "does our governments cruelty protect us?"The event is located in the reading room at Fitzroy town hall and will run from 6pm to 8.30pm. Light refreshments will be provided.

 Article one of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights states that "All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards another in a spirit of brotherhood.

The Citizen Advocacy Trust believes that enduring relationships have the best capacity to protect people with an intellectual disability from harm and provide a sense of belonging to, and connection with, their community. Funds raised at this event will go directly towards the development and practice of Citizen Advocacy programs in Australia
