This session will help you to have a better chance of being successful in your grant application.

This session is designed for people working in charities, community groups, sporting organisations and other non-profits that intend to or are currently seeking and applying for grants through their local communities and other funding sources.

This session will help you with the application process and help you and your organisation to explore additional funding alternatives for longer-term sustainability.

Topics include:

  • What is the client value proposition and why is it an important starting point
  • Understanding funder outcomes and how your project will align with these
  • How to define the project and the benefit it will have for the community
  • What is great about your organisation and why can you deliver this project
  • Understanding grant eligibility criteria
  • Formulating your project plan and the resources required
  • Assessing risks
  • Adhering to the grant conditions and responsibilities
  • Preparing the budget
