Tumnus pop up store

Friday 27 April 2018 - Sunday 29 April 2018

Tumnus are having a free clothing pop up store at LVDI studios on Saturday 28 April and Sunday 29 April from 10am to 7pm with a launch event starting at 7pm on Friday 27 April. Tumnus is an online wardrobe sharing project that aims to minimise the environmental and societal impact of fast fashion by encouraging the sharing of clothes.

Sharing reduces landfill, extends the life cycle of clothing and saves money. With money saved, they encourage members to invest in better quality items. Existing members and newcomers can experience wardrobe sharing in action by browsing and borrowing from a selection of stylish clothes in-store for 5 weeks, completely free of charge. Visitors can create an account at our pop-up and learn more about the cause.

The launch on Friday 27 April will include talks from fashion influencers, as well as from popular musician Lisa Mitchell who will discuss the role that sustainable fashion plays in her life and career. Drinks and good music are also a given.

You'll learn more about how the Tumnus community works, create your profile, get some stylish profesh snapshots taken, and best of all, try on and borrow some stylish new threads which will be yours to show off for 5 weeks.

Bring along 5 quality pieces you no longer regularly wear and are willing to let someone else enjoy (remember, you’ll get them back in 5 weeks). If you're still a bit unsure about this whole share thing, don't worry. Just bring yourself, learn what Tumnus is all about and join in at a later date.

For catering purposes and limited space you must register
