The Balit Narrun Festival – Share the Spirit, is a free annual music festival being held on Friday 26 January at Treasury Gardens from 1pm to 5pm.

Created by Songlines in 2003, the festival features music created by Indigenous artists with a focus on showcasing the true diversity of Indigenous performers across different genres. The festival attracts an annual audience of approximately 5,000 people. 

Dan Sultan, among other brilliant artists will take the stage from 1pm. The artistic direction for 2018 is about ‘strength in culture’ with the Songlines changing the name of the festival Balit Narrun (Strong Spirit). Balit Narrun will feature cultural art, music, dance.

This festival is family friendly and will feature food and children’s activities.
