Make A Scene School Holiday Summer Drama Courses

Monday 22 January 2018 - Thursday 25 January 2018

If you’re looking for fun things to do these summer holidays, Make A Scene offers Victorian kids aged between 5 and 16 years the opportunity to work with passionate and professional actors, performers and teaching artists to explore and develop their imagination and creativity in the performing arts.

Located in Abbotsford, these holiday drama classes are a great opportunity to play and learn in a safe, relaxed, and inclusive environment.

Over a two-day program, students will develop performance and stagecraft skills in acting, singing, dancing, voice, movement, improvisation, and script work. They will then use all their amazing creativity and new skills to put on a show for family and friends. Kids will be placed in appropriate age groups to suit their experience and interest. This is to ensure all participants have a positive experience of performing in front of an audience and within a group.

“It doesn’t matter if you’re experienced or not, it’s really fun and everyone gets to play a part in the performance.” – Bonnie, 9-years-old.

“My 13-year-old daughter always loves attending the holiday sessions. She enjoys meeting others with similar interests and trying out new characters in the mini productions. With the support and encouragement of the teaching staff at Make A Scene, I have seen her confidence grow! Thanks for putting on these great workshops during the holidays.” – Ariane, parent
