The Burnley Fruit Squad is a new and exciting community fruit-harvesting project supported by the Richmond Community Learning Centre, Richmond Community Garden Group and the City of Yarra.

Our squad consists of a group of volunteers who harvest excess fruit from Burnley households and share it with the community. Our objective is to reduce food wastage, enable skill sharing between households and our squad, and foster social connections within our community. 

We are currently seeking interest from community members to join our Burnley Fruit Squad!

We will be launching on Sunday 13 August at Burnley Backyard, from 10am to 12pm, with a free workshop on fruit trees and harvesting.
