Tuesday 04 July 2017 - Saturday 30 December 2017

100 Years of Maternal and Child Health

The first Victorian baby health clinic opened in June 1917 in the St Matthias church hall, Church Street, North Richmond. To celebrate 100 years of this integral service, a suite of public art installations has been created at Maternal and Child Health Centres in the municipality. Curated by Cassie May, artists Kitty Owens and Lizzie Dennis will take you on a journey of painted and paste-up artworks, identifying these sites of community significance.

The public art trail

From 30 June a series of ephemeral and pop-up artworks will be installed around the City of Yarra. Follow the project on Instagram #100MCH and download the Art trail map to follow the artworks at each of the locations.
