Burnley Golf Course has three PGA Professionals ready to help you improve your game.
Whether you’re a first time player or an aspiring pro, Burnley’s resident experts Brent Davis, Graham Hoskins & Michelle Scerri are on offer to bring you a range of lesson options and golfing advice:
- Beginner & Intermediate clinics all year round
- Private tuition available 7 days a week
- On-course lessons
- Short game lessons
- Swing development
- Equipment advice and club fitting
- Rules and etiquette advice.
Lessons are available seven days a week, and club hire is included.
Half-hour lesson - $54.20
One-hour lesson - $108.20
6 x half-hour lessons package - $270.40
Get into Golf – October & November clinics
Our October and November 'Get into Golf' clinics schedule has just been released.
Join us for a four week beginner clinics on Saturday and Sunday. Our resident professionals Brent Davis & Graham Hoskins are here to help.
Don't have clubs? Doesn't matter, we'll supply everything you need, just wear some comfortable shoes and clothing and we'll take care of the rest. Spots are limited, only six students per class.
Session times: 10.00am-11.00am & 11.30am-12.30pm
When: Saturday 5 October - Saturday 26 October & Saturday 9 November - Saturday 30 November
Session time: 12.00pm-1.00pm
When: Sunday 6 October - Sunday 27 October

Join us at Burnley Golf Course for a mini-clinic with our PGA Pro Brent Westwick.
Mini clinic sessions will run every Friday from 11.30am to 12.30pm beginning Friday 5 April. Perfect a different part of your game every week.
Cost: $20 per session
No commitment, just turn up on the day!
Brent Davis is a AAA rated Australian PGA Golf Professional with fifteen years coaching experience. As well as his PGA qualifications Brent has continued his research and study into coaching methods and sport science. This further education has resulted in him being awarded a Masters in Applied Science (Sport Coaching) from the University of Queensland. This allows Brent to offer a full coaching experience for his clients with his sport science knowledge complementing his understanding of the golf swing and its mechanics.
Since turning professional in 1997 Brent has coached in a variety of settings and helped a variety of golfers.
Brent has been involved with driving ranges, private golf clubs, semi private golf clubs, public courses and elite level national programs. This varied experience has given Brent the knowledge, experience and skills to be able to coach players ranging in ability from beginners through to professional tour players.
Graham Hoskins has been a member of the PGA for 39 Years. After completing his PGA traineeship at Melbourne’s famous Metropolitan Golf Club, Graham enjoyed 2 years of Tournament golf on the Australasian Tour before settling down as Head Professional at Waverly Private Golf Club for 10 Years.
In 1992 Graham secured the Head Professional position at Glen Waverly Public, where he spent a further 10 years before buying an off-course Pro Shop “The hole in One”.
Winding down his golf career, Graham spent 7 years assisting the Head Professional at Green Acres Golf Club before being poached for a position at Burnley Golf Course.
His career highlights include three Holes in One and a win at the prestigious Sir Dallas Brooks Foursomes with Waverly Golf Club’s Lady Captain.
Graham brings to Burnley Golf Course an enormous wealth of knowledge and experience and we are very fortunate to have him on our staff.
Born in Melbourne, Michelle has been a passionate golfer for more than 20 years. A golf fanatic from a young age, she was offered a special exemption to play at Northern Golf Club as a junior, where she won club championships and represented Victoria and Australia at junior level.
After she finished high school, Michelle completed scholarships with the Victorian and Australian institutes of sport, travelling extensively though Europe and the U.S. playing for Australia under the guidance of coach Steven Bann.
Turning professional at 21, Michelle spent a short time on the European Tour, but found her niche in the U.S. She spent seven enjoyable years playing in the U.S Futures Tour, returning home during summer to play the Aussie tour.
Michelle’s career highlights include two second place Tour finishes and competing in the 2000 U.S. Open in Chicago. During her more-than-20-year career, Michelle has worked with many of the world’s finest coaches and tour professionals. She brings all of this knowledge and a wealth of experience to Burnley.
