Get into Golf – Beginner and Intermediate level clinics

Join our next series of beginner and intermediate level clinics at Burnley Golf Course starting on Saturday 28 February.

Our beginner clinics are a terrific introduction to the game of golf where you will learn the key basics to get you going out on the course. Our intermediate clinics will help you refine the key fundamentals of golf to fine tune what you have learnt.

Don’t have clubs? Doesn’t matter, we’ll supply everything you need. Just wear some comfortable flat soled shoes and dress appropriately for the weather.

Clinics with Brent Westwick

When: Every Saturday from 28 February to 21 March
Beginner level clinic: 10:00 am - 11:00 am
Intermediate level clinic: 11:30 am - 12:30 pm

Clinics with Graham Hoskins

When: Every Sunday from 8 March to 29 March
Beginner level clinic: 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Cost: $113.00 per person for four weeks

Minimum four to maximum of six players per group. All equipment provided and payment in full is required to secure your booking.

Burnley Golf Club Ambrose Charity Day

The Burnley Golf Club, in associated with the St Mary’s House of Welcome, will be hosting their annual charity day on Sunday 1 March at Burnley Golf Course.

Come along and join in a fun day of golf including:

  • Free BBQ
  • Live jazz music
  • Prizes and giveaways – bags, buggies, golf balls, plus much more
  • Competition and prizes for 1st – 3rd placed teams, hole-in-one, betting hole, Irish NTP, longest drive, and straightest drive.

Sevens Season 2014/15

Woo hoo, it’s that time of the year again! Grab your team of 7 and join us for another season of everyone’s favourite team game.

If you’re new to Sevens, here’s the lowdown. Sevens is a 9 hole social team golf game that’s more about having fun and getting out there in a relaxed environment with family, friends and workmates than it is about winning the big trophy.

It doesn’t matter if you’re a seasoned pro, a regular social player or a new to the game hacker, Sevens’ unique handicap and scoring system allows you and your team to be competitive and have fun from your very first round.

The Sevens Golf seasons starts with our fun Ambrose event launch on Sunday 26 October; 4pm shotgun start. Week one of the season will then begin on Monday 27 October 2014.
