Welcome to the Yarra Youth Services Holiday Program!
We have a selection of fun–filled, educational and energising activities foryoung people aged 12–18 years, who live, work or study in the City of Yarra.
Youth Holiday Program September 2015
Bookings for the Septmeber 2015 Youth Services Holiday Program are now open.
Activities will take place on selected week days from Tuesday 22 September - Thursday 1 October (NB: Friday 2 October there will be no program due to a public holiday).
All bookings and payments are due by Friday 4 September 2015.

Please note: The program is open to young people aged 12–18 who live, work or study in the City of Yarra. Twelve year olds who attend primary school are not eligible for this program. They are eligible instead for Council’s Vacation Care program.

TUESDAY 22 SEPTEMBER
Tree Top Adventures
Climb and traverse incredible rope courses amongst the treetops, including that of a huge 150-year-old Algerian Oak – Trees Adventure’s ‘home tree’. Suitable for all ability levels.

WHAT TO BRING: Wear comfortable shoes (suitable for walking/climbing) and loose clothes. Lunch and snacks provided.
WEDNESDAY 23 SEPTEMBER
Gaming Day with YMCA (FREE)
Ever wanted to become your favourite video game character? Step through the screen with us as we smash through our own obstacles and build our own Minecraft mansions! Enjoy a fun-filled day of games at Richmond Estate with YMCA.

What to bring: Wear comfortable clothing and your best game faces! BBQ lunch and snacks provided.
THURSDAY 24 SEPTEMBER
Ever-popular Luna Park offers a range of attractions for all ages: from mini roller coasters such as Silly Serpent, to nail-biting thrill rides such as Pharaoh’s Curse and Power Surge. A day at Luna Park cannot be missed!

FRIDAY 25 SEPTEMBER
Swimming, Waterslides and Caulfield Park
Visit Glen Eira Sports and Aquatic Centre (GESAC) with its two waterslides that will have you twisting and turning at high speed before a final, exciting splashdown. Afterwards play some Frisbee and games in Caulfield Park!

What to bring: Dress for an afternoon of spectacular theatre and circus under The Big Top. A light lunch will be provided.
TUESDAY 29 SEPTEMBER
Sports and Arts Picnic 'Taste It' Day
Play soccer, football, bocce and football, make art and skateboard – all while picnicking in the park with theYarra Youth Services crew!

WEDNESDAY 30 SEPTEMBER
Galactic Circus & AFL Grand Final Week
An action-packed day starting with two hours of pure gaming freedom playing the latest video games at Galactic Circus. Then catch all the Grand Final action as footy fever takes over Fed Square forAFL Grand Final Week – activities, music, entertainment on the big screen and a chance to meet the game’s biggest stars!

THURSDAY 1 OCTOBER
Go Karts & Laser Tag (FREE)
Stretching over 23 acres, this massive four-track complex has been built to be Australia's premier Go-Karting track – no expense spared! Ride Go Karts and play Laser Tag with all your school holiday buddies!

FRIDAY 2 OCTOBER
Please note that there will be no program, due to a public holiday.
How to book
1. Choose up to four paid activities and any free activities you would like to participate in.
2. Fill in this Booking Form September 2015 Holiday Program (57.13 KB)
Return your completed form to Yarra Youth Services by:
- posting your form to: Yarra Youth Services Holiday Program, 156 Napier Street, Fitzroy 3065
- visiting the Yarra Community Youth Centre (156 Napier Street, Fitzroy) weekdays from 3pm - 5pm
- visiting Richmond Town Hall (333 Bridge Road,Richmond), Collingwood Town Hall (140 Hoddle Street, Abbotsford), or Connie Benn Centre (160 Brunswick Street, Fitzroy) from Monday–Friday between 8.30am–5pm.
Please note - bookings and payments are due on Friday 4 September 2015.
3. Make payment.
Payment can be made at the Yarra Community Youth Centre by cash, cheque or money order.
Payment by EFTPOS can only be made at the Richmond Town Hall, Collingwood Town Hall or Connie Benn Centre.
Please note bookings cannot be secured without payment. If you have any issues with making a payment, please contact Youth Services on 9426 1455.
Yarra Youth Services will call you to confirm you booking.
Lunch and snacks
Yarra Youth Services provides a healthy lunch, muesli bar and bottle of water to each young person attending the program. If you would like additional food or drinks, please bring your own from home or bring money to purchase your own.
The cost is $17.50 per day or $3 for Health Care Card holders, unless otherwise indicated. Lunch is provided on each day.

People who have booked to attend the activities can be picked up from (and later returned to) the following locations:
