First time at a gym or maybe its been a while…
Joining a new gym can be an intimidating thing, and even those who’ve exercised for a while know the importance of having guidance in the first few sessions of this healthy practice.
Yarra Leisure’s qualified Fitness Instructors will show you how to reach your health and fitness goals faster. They’ll develop an individually-tailored program that suits your lifestyle, goals and fitness levels, while at the same time protect you from exercise-related injury. They will also familiarise you with the general gym layout as well as any unfamiliar equipment.

Your gym membership entitles you to:
You and your Instructor will complete a detailed Health and Fitness Profile, discuss your history and set some training goals.
Your Instructor takes you through your own individual program, demonstrating each exercise and discussing technique (sometimes this is done in conjunction with your IC).
Regular Program Re-Assessments
To keep fresh and motivated we recommend you repeat the above process every six weeks or so but remember, assistance is always available so if you have ANY queries about your program just ask.
