Willowview Activity Centre
Willowview is a community venue located at 6 Eddy Court next to the Collingwood Town Hall. It offers a range of activities for older residents and assists carers who look after older family members. All centre activities aim to increase or maintain participants’ independence.
Activities at the centre range from daily exercise, board games, gardening, trips and outings. The centre provides a friendly and supportive environment where people can socialise and participate in enjoyable and interesting activities of their choice.
Staff at Willowview are friendly and enthusiastic and provide a supportive daily program. Staff speak a range of languages and have qualifications, skills and expertise in aged care.
The range of quiet and active recreational activities provided is based on the choices and interest of residents attending Willowview.
- daily exercise, yoga, Tai Chi, trips and outings
- art and craft, gardening, board games, cards and bingo
- guest speakers, conversation and discussions
- special events, celebrations, cooking and gardening
