Activities for Seniors


Seniors in Yarra can take part in some free activities at the Richmond and Collingwood seniors' hubs.

All activities are free to attend. However there is a cost of $6.00 for lunch and pre-booking is required.

A schedule of what's on at each centre is available below.

Richmond Seniors' Hub

1 Hosie Street, Richmond

Mondays
Centre closed

Tuesdays
Bingo from 1pm–3.45pm

Wednesdays
Free delivery of fresh fruit and vegetables from 11.30am
Music & singing with a professional entertainer from 1.30pm–2.30pm

Thursdays
Fitness class focusing on strength and balance (lead by qualified instructor) from 10.30am–11.30am
Art class from 12pm–2pm

Collingwood Seniors' Hub

4 Eddy Court, Collingwood

Mondays
Free delivery of fresh fruit and vegetables from 11.30am

Walking Football 10.30 – 11.30 A modified version of soccer for older persons

Tuesdays
Gentle exercise group from 11am - 12 noon

Monday to Friday 
Three course lunch for $6.00 from 12 noon (booking required)
