How to enrol your child

There are a number of pre-schools within the City of Yarra providing a variety of high quality educational and developmental programs for four year olds. These centres differ, having their own individual styles, activities and opening hours. We recommend you visit several centres in order to see the range of services, talk with staff and make choices about which pre-school would most closely match your child's and your family's individual needs.

We believe pre-school plays an important part in a family's life. We hope to answer any questions which will assist you in choosing the most appropriate pre-school for your family.

What will I need to take? How will I settle my child?

Each centre has its own orientation program and settling in process. Talking with staff in the various centres is the most effective way to find out particular details.

Costs

Pre-school fees differ from centre to centre. A reduced rate is available for eligible families.
