Discounted Hall Hire Programs

Council offers discounted hall hire to not-for-profit community groups in Yarra. In addition, the Community Grants Program offers two opportunities to gain further assistance accessing Yarra’s Town Hall facilities.

Annual Grant applicants can apply for the Annual Grant Council Facility Subsidy as they fill out their annual grant application and may be eligible to have their Town Hall or Richmond Theatrette hire fully subsidised. For further advice, please contact the Grants Team on 9205 5170.

Other community groups who want to hold an event with significant benefit to Yarra’s community, within one of Yarra’s three town halls, can apply for Discount Use of Town Halls. This program can provide up to a 90% discount on one hall booking per financial year for eligible groups and events. Time limits and conditions apply for these bookings.
