Victoria Street Structure Plan
Council prepared a structure plan for the Victoria Street ‘activity centre’ which includes the shopping areas and other commercial areas along Victoria Street from Hoddle Street to the Yarra River. The study area also includes some adjoining areas, including the North Richmond Housing Estate.

Background
Council undertook initial community consultation on the structure plan in mid-2008. An Issues and Strategic Options Paper and Fact Sheet were released for community discussion and feedback at that time, these can be viewed here:

Council established a stakeholder group, involving local residents and business owners, to provide ongoing feedback on the plan. Here is the Stakeholder Group's Terms of Reference:
