Reference

The Reference collection includes:

encyclopedias
dictionaries
yearbooks
atlases
bibliographies
directories
handbooks

It contains information on an extensive range of topics and is the ideal starting place for any kind of research, whetherit be finding completing a school assignment, obtaining information for work or personal interest. This material is notavailable for loan and therefore is always found on the shelves. Each branch has a reference collection; and the collection atRichmond is the largest in the region.

The Richmond reference collection includes:

a core collection of statistics in print format, in addition to
comprehensive material from the 2001 census, which is available on CD-ROM.
Victorian Acts of Parliament
Local Council Planning Scheme

All reference material can be searched on our library catalogue.
