ABCThis site contains interviews with authors, articles on literary history and criticism. It includes an archive of book reviewsdating back to 1999.
New York Times Book PagesBook news, reviews, and access to the first chapters of newly released books, to whet your appetite. You need to sign up andbecome a member, but it is free to do so.
Washington Post - Book WorldBook news, reviews and access to the first chapters if you wish. You need to enter a few details about yourself (or someone else)but once you have done so it is free to enter the site.
BBC Books PageBook news, reviews and articles.
The Times Literary Supplement (UK)The online companion site to what Edmund White calls 'the definitive literary review'. You do not get everything that is in theprint version but you do get quite a lot, including full reviews.
The Guardian (UK)An extensive site, with news, reviews and articles. Highly recommended.
