Local History collection
All branches of Yarra Libraries have a Local History collection. Larger collections are held in the Richmond, Fitzroy and Collingwood libraries, with smaller collections available at Carlton and North Fitzroy.
Many local history files have now been transferred to our online catalogue. Our collection is continually increasing, so it's always worthwhile searching the catalogue. Our collection consists of items such as books, photographs and newspaper clippings.
- A booking to use the non-print materials may be required.
- Bookings can be made by phone or in person.
- If you require help in locating these resources, please ask a staff member for assistance.
