Atherton Reserve temporary closure
As part of Council’s ongoing capital works program, Atherton Reserve, in Napier Street, Fitzroy, will be closed to the public from Monday 26 October until early December 2009.
The surface at Atherton Reserve is being replaced with more durable and sustainable summer season grasses in time for the coming summer months.
Council is also upgrading the Reserve’s irrigation system to reuse water from the nearby housing estate.
