Michelle Scerri
Michelle was born in Melbourne, Australia in 1974. At the age of 14 Michelle was already playing several sports but golf was the obvious frontrunner in which she would choose to pursue. A special exemption to join Northern Golf Club before she was actually eligible meant that she could play and practice to her hearts content, winning Club Championships and representing her state and country as a junior.
After completing high school Michelle completed scholarships with the Victorian and Australian institutes of Sport and travelled extensively though Europe and the U.S. playing for her country under the guidance of well known golf coach Steven Bann.
At the age of 21, Michelle turned Professional and after a short stint on the European Tour Michelle found her niche in the U.S. She spent 7 enjoyable years touring the U.S on the Futures Tour and would spend her summers at home in Australia playing the Aussie Tour.
Her career highlights include two second place finishes and competing in the 2000 U.S Open in Chicago. During Michelle’s 20-year career she has seen and worked with many of the worlds finest coaches and Touring Professionals and attributes her teaching skills to her wealthy experiences from around the world.
Claire Elvidge
After a successful amateur career representing Western Australia at both junior and senior levels and culminating in reaching the 1989 Australian Amateur final, Claire decided to turn professional in 1990. She was the first women in Australia to complete the full PGA Academy of Golf traineeship.
Based at the Royal Fremantle Golf Club and under the tutelage of former PGA Australian Coach of the year Dale Wharton she attained the highest level of AAA with the PGA and on completion of the traineeship began her own business specialising in golf travel and tuition to and from Australia.
This prompted the move to Asia to take up the position of general manager at the beautiful Jagorawi Golf and Country Club in Indonesia.
Apart from receiving the Australian Sports Medal for services to golf she also has completed a diploma in Hospitality Management.
Claire is dedicated to her teaching and to helping all her students learn more about this challenging sport.
