2006/2007 Capital Works Plan going ahead…

The Burnley Golf Courses Capital Works plan stage 2 has been completed with the full refurbishment of the men’s and ladies toilets and the addition of new locker rooms.  The social rooms have also had a major facelift with the demolition of a dividing wall to make one large social room with a kitchenette.

Players have also enjoyed some improvements on the course with the resurfacing of surrounds around the 7th and 9th holes as well as 5 new tees. Burnley Golf Course now has 6 couch tees providing a lovely playing surface all year round.

Look out for a newly designed pro shop to better service our loyal customers.

New Tee Markers...

9 brand new tee markers have been erected showing new yardages on all holes at Burnley.  Regular players will have noticed some fishy yardages on the old tee signs so the course was recently re-measured.  The short par 4, 9th hole was also looked at and has now changed to a challenging Par 3.
