The award is open to women or groups of women who live, work or study in the City of Yarra and who have made a significant contribution to the community. This contribution can be through paid or unpaid work, through volunteering, or simply through the inspirational way nominees choose to live their lives.
Nominations are due by 5pm on Thursday 18 February, and will be reviewed by a selection panel, comprising of representatives from Council and community organisations.
The panel will assess the applications, with the nominees and final recipient to be announced at the Yarra Council International Women’s Day celebration on Tuesday 8 March at the Collingwood Town Hall.
